Wedding Dance Information

How early should we take lessons?
As soon as possible! We suggest coming in around 4 to 6 months in advance of your special day, and then come in for a touch up the week before the event. Although many people think this should be the last thing on their list, take time to do it right! Allow us to take away part of the stress of preparing and organizing your special event. Our professional dance instructors will do everything to create a special experience for you and your future spouse! Don't forget... we can show the bridal party and your parents a few moves too! We also work with father-daughter and mother-son dances.

Can we avoid using the old' high school sway?
Your wedding dance doesn't have to look like the high school homecoming dance! Our instructors will work with you to create a dance that not only looks great but is filled with your personalities. We will put together an intro, ending and all the fancy steps in between so that you can create your Cinderella moment! You'll be amazed how easy and fun it is to learn the right way, and how fast you'll be able to do it.

What if we don't have a song?
No worries! While the traditional wedding songs along with their dance counterparts (foxtrot and waltz) are still very popular, today's popular music all have equal partners in the dance world. So whether you're are a fan of classical music, country or rock and roll, I can help you figure out which dance goes with what. Many people are also choosing to mix traditional with contemporary by blending two songs together. It's ok to dream... after all, it's your wedding day! I also have a list of suggested songs for your special dance and I can assist you in selecting the perfect song for your perfect day!

What if we are on a budget?
Dance lessons can be expensive and often is just one more thing to add to the budget. Most professional dance instructors charge anywhere from $70 - $150 an hour for lessons. I know that in today's economy everyone is watching their pocketbook and to make your dance lessons more affordable I offer a discounted wedding dance lesson package! You'll get 5 lessons (55-minutes in length) for just $250! That price includes the lessons, floor time, choreography and a copy of any music cuts made to your first dance song.

This program is ONLY offered to wedding couples. You must have a song selected prior to attending the first lesson so be sure to check our our list of suggested songs if you are still not sure what song to use.
